How much ice will I need? Most sno-cones are 4-6 oz. A 20 lb bag of ice should produce 40-50 Sno-Cones.
Can I use block ice to make Sno-Cones? You can use block ice if you break it into 3-4 size pieces
How much syrup should I use to flavor my Sno-Cones? One 6 oz Sno-Cone will typically take 1-2 ounces of syrup.

Snow cone machine works well with any type of cubed ice. Manufacturer says it can produce up to 300 lbs. of shaved ice per hour. Aluminum construction with plexiglass panels. Open back panel for easy access.
Snow cones are a variation of shaved ice. Basically it s ground-up ice served in paper cones, flavored with a sugary syrup, and served as a dessert. Sometimes it s called a snowball . In the Great Depression they were called a Hard Times Sundae or a Penny Sunday!
